Purpose of data processing:
In this paragraph we inform you about what data is collected and for what purpose.
Automated data processing/data transmission
When you visit our website, data is automatically processed for technical reasons. However, this data does not allow any conclusions to be drawn about you personally. This data is stored in server-side log files and processed solely for anonymized statistical purposes. This data includes, among other things, information about the time of access, the browser used, the referrer URL (previously visited website), and other purely technical information about your hardware, operating system, and browser. This data is not shared with third parties.
Collection of personal data
The processing of personal data and information is carried out exclusively for the fulfillment of order-related processes and for the handling of contractually required transactions.
Personal data is processed only in the course of inquiries or contractual transactions that the data subject himself or a third party commissioned by the data subject has sent to us, e.g. for the preparation of an offer.
Should you provide or have provided us with your personal data, we assure you that it will not be passed on to third parties unless this is necessary for the fulfillment of the order or a legal basis requires the disclosure.
Security notice regarding data sharing on the internet
Despite all technical and organizational measures, we cannot guarantee 100% security when processing your personal data via our website. Therefore, we advise you to send particularly sensitive personal data to us by mail or by telephone if it is required for us to fulfill your order.
Legal basis for the processing of personal data
The processing of personal data is primarily based on Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR – for the performance of a contract or in order to take steps prior to entering into a contract. Alternatively, in the case of a non-contractual situation, processing is based on the explicit consent of the data subject in accordance with Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR.
Duration of data storage
We store personal data in connection with contractual processing in accordance with the statutory retention periods. In the case of processing solely for pre-contractual purposes, personal data will be deleted four weeks after the last correspondence related to the transaction. This does not apply if the data subject requests deletion, which will be complied with immediately, unless a legal provision prevents this or a government agency has submitted a request for information.
Disclosure of personal data – categories of recipients
Personal data will only be disclosed to third parties if this is absolutely necessary for the fulfillment of our contractual obligations to the data subject. For example, it may be necessary to use one or more subcontractors, such as transport companies, to fulfill contractual obligations – such as the delivery of goods to the data subject – which necessitates the disclosure of the name and address.
All booking data you enter is transmitted in encrypted form.
Your rights as an affected person
Below we inform you about your rights as a data subject in accordance with the data protection regulations of the GDPR and the BDSG.
We want to comply with your legal rights in every case and ask you to note that in the event of a request for information, deletion or correction, your request may take some time – but we will endeavor to process your request within the legally permissible timeframe of 4 weeks.
As a data subject, you have the right to request information about the data we have stored about you, free of charge, at any time. As part of this information, we will inform you about the purpose of the data storage, the type and scope of all personal data, as well as any recipients and the reason for data transfer.
Furthermore, as a data subject, you can request that we correct or delete your personal data, which we will of course comply with insofar as this is legally justifiable.
You can object to the processing of your personal data for the future or revoke any consent you may have given. The options for objection or revocation are set out in the provisions of the GDPR.
In the event that you wish to receive your data stored with us in accordance with the right to data portability, we will provide it to you.
We do not use automated decision-making or profiling.
Identity verification for the protection of the person concerned
To prevent misuse of personal data by unauthorized third parties, we verify the identity of the requesting person via an appropriate method in the course of a request for information, a deletion or correction request, as well as the transfer of personal data.
Right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority
Should you believe that, despite all due care, we have not acted correctly and/or have processed your personal data improperly or without authorization, we ask you to provide us with a corresponding factual notification or a complaint to our data protection officer – Sylvana Schreiber – whose contact details can be found in the introductory part of this privacy policy.
Regardless of the above, as a data subject you have the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection supervisory authority responsible for us as the controller.
