Distance from Hotel: 4.0 km

Equestrian Sports Park Karlshorst, better known to Berliners as the trotting course (trabrennbahn), is located barely 10 minutes by car from the hotel on Treskowallee 129.
It was originally designed in 1893/94 as a racecourse. In 1945, it was converted into a trotting course, following the orders of Soviet Commander Colonel General Bersarin and for the time Germany was divided, it was the only trotting course in East Germany.
To this day, the park is a popular with Berliners on a day out, a popular location for many sports events or folk festivals. If you do love horse races and enjoy risking a euro or two on a bet, then this is the place for you.
